About project:

The Labyrinth project is to establish a place to support the people by having a place to meditate, pray and find peace. We would love to form labyrinths at schools, in neighborhoods, at any and all other public/private spaces.

Story on how this project came about . .

While partaking in on a Native American styled Vision Quest that was facilitated by the experience wilderness expert, I was sent me off in the mountains of Chochise, Arizona, With only water to drink, no food and spent four days in solitude. Day 3 i rounded up the energy to clear out this patch of land that was just weeds rocks and small boulder type of rock to make a labyrinth. I knew it had to be done. Laying one rock at a time, each with a prayer of its own, there became my first ever prayer labyrinth.

I walked this path multiple times a day. I used it for meditation, to help remember all the prayers that were laid into each stone, and to continue praying for what I want in my life. When I came back from the mountain. I felt I needed to continue making these paths with/for the hearts and souls of others to help them while their in there quest through life.

"Our physical bodies and spiritual beings are interconnected. The labyrinth, with its walking and praying, activates this interconnectedness.” ~ Clay Stauffer | STUDENT |

Labyrinths are used for conflict resolution in high school and university settings, by student groups. teachers, administrators, and family members.
